Code on-board sensor KBD 2M is a printed circuit board with a chip, enclosed in a plastic vandal-proof housing, carrying information about each mobile object, functioning without a power supply, using the energy of the UHF signal of the reader, is designed for operation as part of the system of automatic identification of rolling stock of railway transport (SAI PS).
It contains the identification code of a particular unit of traction (motor-car) rolling stock, which is once entered into the sensor by the programmer before installation on the rolling stock and is stored in it during the entire life cycle.
In terms of resistance to climatic effects the sensor corresponds to the products of category 1 UHL GOST15150-69, class K4.1 OST 32.146-2000 "Railway automation, telemechanics and communications equipment" with tightening of the upper range limit of ambient air temperature up to +120°?.
