The simulator is an anatomical model of the human upper extremity with superficial veins and imitation of a short sleeve of clothing, mounted on a full-colour panel.
The material used in the manufacturing process imitates skin and subcutaneous fatty tissue. The structure of the vein simulators and the surrounding tissues are made taking into account functional mobility and elasticity, and provides the feeling of needle failure when performing an intravenous injection. For control and a more realistic picture, the vessels are filled with artificial blood, which flows into the syringe when the procedure is performed correctly.
The simulator is designed to practise the skills of inserting intravenous needles and catheters, infusing solutions, and drawing blood from the veins of the elbow bend and the back of the hand. The panel shows a grid of veins and arteries, which helps to study the anatomy of the upper limb.
Completion and overall dimensions are made according to the needs and requirements of the customer.
