Description
Indicators of the state of insulating connections ISIS are designed to detect insulating flanges and couplings on pipelines with electrical insulation resistance less than 10 Ohm, to detect contacts of pipelines with cases, sleeves and other metal structures.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The operation of the indicator is based on the comparison of the voltage drop on the insulating connection with the reference voltage. The comparison takes place on alternating current, so the complex electrical resistance of the insulating connection is taken into account. The indicator is switched on automatically, if the electrical resistance between the contact webs is less than 0.5 megohms, or if voltage is present.
