The INOFACE-7 biometric terminal (model 43668576, designation 466452.001-01 RATC) is a facial-recognition access reader from the Russian INOFACE line developed by METRIKA B LLC. Mounted on a turnstile or on a door with an electromagnetic lock, it identifies a person by face in about half a second and grants or denies passage automatically, raising turnstile throughput to as many as 30 people per minute.
The terminal is built on a serious computing platform: a quad-core ARM A57 processor running at 1.43 GHz, a 128-core Maxwell-class GPU and 4 GB of LPDDR4 memory under Ubuntu or Astra Linux. A synchronized stereo pair of 8-megapixel Sony IMX219-160 cameras builds a volumetric image of the face at distances from 0.1 to 3 meters, while dynamic LED and IR illumination keeps recognition reliable in changing light.
This unit features a rotating camera module and carries built-in certified information-protection facilities of the KS1 class. The accompanying Face2Pass software meets the requirements set by the Russian Government for systems that collect biometric personal data and is listed in the Unified Register of Russian Software (No.
2019666833). Recognition works even when the person wears a hat or a mask, and a universal card reader adds optional two-factor identification.
