Purpose and capabilities:
Fabrication of complex shaped parts by layer-by-layer selective laser fusion of metal powders according to a 3D-CAD computer model.
Materials used: powders of stainless steels, nickel alloys, cobalt-chromium alloys, titanium, aluminium.
ML6-1 series 3D printers are developed and manufactured by the Lasers and Hardware Group of Companies in Zelenograd. During the development, global experience in the operation of this type of machines was taken into account and a number of new patented system solutions, components and units of the machine, as well as proprietary software were additionally developed. A distinctive feature of ML6-1 machines is the open software, which provides the user with the possibility to make his own settings of technological modes of fusion, and thus the ability to work with different types of metal powders.
