The KVK 8.5 m³ is an industrial vacuum-steam cooking boiler for animal feed production — the heavy process vessel rendering plants and feed kitchens use to cook, sterilise and process by-products into safe, digestible feed. Vacuum-steam operation is the technology's core advantage: cooking under reduced pressure lowers process temperatures and accelerates cycles — this unit completes a cycle in about 5 hours — while steam jacketing across 7 m² of heating surface delivers even, scorch-free heat through the 8.5 m³ working volume.
The carbon steel vessel is driven by a 55 kW agitator drive, measures 7,175 mm long by 1,800 mm wide by 3,400 mm high, and weighs 22.8 tonnes — a permanent process asset. Equipment of this class anchors rendering lines at meat plants, sanitary recycling facilities and large livestock complexes converting by-products into feed value instead of disposal cost.
Supplied as a single unit from about 48,000 USD, the boiler addresses meat processors, rendering plant builders and agro-industrial EPC contractors.
