Crosshead of coke hydraulic cutting system is designed for use in the hydraulic cutting system of the plant for extraction of coke from the removed from coking and cooling coke chamber by supplying pressurised water to a special hydraulic cutter mounted on a drilling rod, the drive of which is fixed on a moving crosshead suspended by a winch to a chain hoist. The equipment consists of a main body and a movable block, connected with each other by an adapter shaft.
The crosshead is designed for reciprocating movements (raising and lowering) of the percussion rod along the guides, as well as for fixing the drill string drive. The crosshead is moved along the rails.
The crosshead is secured on the rails by the use of guide rollers (shoes) that encircle the guide on three sides to ensure locking in the horizontal position.
