The SMZ 133M is a hydraulically driven rebar cutting machine manufactured by Promstroymash (ООО Завод ПромСтройМаш), a Russian machine-building enterprise with production facilities in Moscow and Kuvandyk (Orenburg Oblast). The machine is purpose-built for cutting reinforcing steel bar stock at reinforced concrete product plants and on construction sites.
Unlike mechanically driven shears, the hydraulic drive delivers a blade working force of 600 kN, enabling clean cuts through Class A-I bars up to 40 mm in diameter, Class A-II bars up to 38 mm, and Class A-III bars up to 36 mm. The cutting stroke is 50 mm, and the machine can operate in either single-cut or continuous-cut mode.
An AIR 112 M4 electric motor rated at 5.5 kW / 1475 rpm drives an eccentric piston hydraulic pump; the hydraulic circuit incorporates a ВЕ 10.64 distributor, МКП-12-02 safety valve, and an МП4-УФ 40 MPa pressure gauge for real-time monitoring. The blade gap is adjusted by a handwheel-driven thrust sleeve, allowing fast changeover between bar diameters.
Overall dimensions are 1360 × 410 × 980 mm, machine weight is 490 kg. The unit complies with TR TS (EAEU) technical regulations and is rated for climate class УХЛ category 4 per GOST 15150.
Standard delivery includes the machine, a detachable foot pedal, an electrical control cabinet, and a TR TS Declaration of Conformity.
