Optical sight of constant magnification with light-force lens of large diameter, allowing to obtain a wide field of view and sharpness of the image even in twilight. The optics of the sight has a multilayer illuminating coating.

The sight is dust- and water-proof. R8x56L riflescope is equipped with a reticle illumination with adjustable brightness.

In order to eliminate the parallax effect, the R8x56Lf riflescope is equipped with a device for refocusing the objective lens on the range.
