Description

The GAGAR>N Oracle Gen 3 (HERV.466216.012) is a high-density server platform in a 2 OU chassis for OCP Rack v2, configured with an extended HDD storage subsystem for capacity-hungry workloads. The platform supports up to two 3rd-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 40 cores each (TDP up to 270 W), 32 DDR4-3200 slots for up to 8 TB of RAM on the Intel Lewisburg C621A chipset, and rich I/O including three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, one x8 slot and an OCP 3.0 x16 mezzanine.

Storage combines hot-swap front bays for eight 2.5″ U.2 NVMe/SATA drives (or six 15 mm drives) with an additional subsystem of twelve hot-swap 3.5″ LFF SAS/SATA HDDs, plus two M.2 NVMe boot slots. Dedicated management runs over a built-in 100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 interface.

The server suits data-center operators, system integrators and enterprises building storage-dense clusters on open OCP infrastructure.
