The KAA20-1700/2700 is a wideband directional panel MIMO antenna produced by KROKS Plus LLC, a scientific-production company based in Voronezh that has been designing and manufacturing wireless communication equipment for the Russian market for many years. Covering the full 1700–2700 MHz band, the antenna delivers a gain of 17–20 dBi, making it highly effective for boosting 3G and 4G connectivity at considerable distances from cellular base stations.
The dual-port MIMO 2×2 design enables LTE cat.4 modems to reach speeds up to 150 Mbit/s and LTE cat.6 modems up to 300 Mbit/s. Compatible standards include GSM 1800, UMTS 2100, LTE 1800/2100/2300/2600, and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz (IEEE 802.11b/g/n).
The sealed ABS plastic housing is UV-resistant and weather-tight, rated for operation from −40 °C to +90 °C at up to 100% relative humidity, enabling year-round outdoor installation without additional protection. Antenna inputs are DC-shorted between inner and outer conductors, which dissipates static charge and reduces the risk of damage to connected modems or routers — eliminating the need for a separate lightning arrester in most installations.
Port-to-port isolation is at least 30 dB. The mounting bracket accommodates pipes 32–40 mm in diameter and supports full azimuth, tilt, and polarization adjustment for precise signal alignment.
