1 Conducting cores - single-wire from copper soft wire with nominal diameter of 1,20 mm.
2 Insulation consists of polystyrene thread (cordel) applied in an open spiral and polystyrene tape applied over the thread with an overlap.
3 Quadruple - cores with insulation of different colours are twisted in a star quadruple around a central cordel. In a quadruplet, two conductors arranged diagonally form a working pair. The insulation of the cores of the first pair of quadruplets is red and yellow, the second pair is blue and green. The twisted fours are wrapped in an open spiral with coloured cotton yarn of different colours.
4 The core:
- of a four-quarter cable is twisted from four star fours,
- of a seven-quarter cable is twisted of seven star quarters.
5 Belt insulation - consists of ribbons of cable paper. A measuring identification tape is laid under or between the belts of the belt insulation or under the metal jacket
6 Sheath - welded aluminium according to GOST 24641-81.
