TPRG turbine helicoidal flow converters are designed to convert the volumetric flow rate of liquid into a frequency electric signal of sinusoidal form. They are used at process units, bench equipment, loading points at oil refineries, as well as in diesel fuel metering systems. Measured liquid - oil and its refined products, fluids of hydraulic systems, industrial oils, diesel fuel, hydrocarbon fuels, water; and TPRG 12T-8 can be used on sea water.
The principle of operation of the transducers is based on the conversion of the volume flow rate of the liquid into the angular velocity of rotation of the turbine (support on sliding bearings) placed in the flow. Average MTBF: not less than 40 000h. Average service life: not less than 10 years.
