The GEKA D60 is a 6-tonne diesel counterbalance forklift built by NMZ (Nevyansky Machine-Building Plant), a Russian industrial manufacturer headquartered in Nevyansk, Sverdlovsk Oblast, with an engineering centre in Yekaterinburg. The machine belongs to the GEKA D heavy-duty series that uses dual rear wheels on the drive axle — a configuration chosen to distribute the 9,350 kg operating weight evenly, improve traction on outdoor surfaces, and maintain maneuverability at high load capacities.
Paired with a hydromechanical transmission and the MMZ D-245 diesel engine from Minsk Motor Plant, the D60 delivers smooth power transfer suited to intensive shift work in logistics terminals, manufacturing yards, and bulk-material handling sites. Standard specifications include a 6,000 kg rated capacity at a 600 mm load centre, a 3,000 mm nominal lift height, a 3,450 mm turning radius, and 8.25-15-14 pneumatic tyres on both axles.
The reinforced frame, wide-view mast with 150 mm free lift and 6°/12° forward-backward tilt, and ergonomic cab with hydraulic brakes, adjustable steering column, and creep-drive function for precise positioning collectively make the D60 a capable platform for heavy outdoor duty. An optional arctic package — liquid engine pre-heater, double-glazed cab, heated mirrors, and autonomous air heater — extends operational range to extreme northern climates.
Being fully Russian-assembled, the D60 benefits from competitive pricing versus imported equivalents and guaranteed spare-parts availability at the factory and throughout the national dealer network.
