The STK MARS NEO-15 О 0,6 RF is a smart single-jet impeller heat meter engineered for return-pipe installation in closed and open district heating systems and hot water supply networks. Manufactured by DECAST M, a Russian developer of innovative utility metering devices operating since 1994, the unit integrates three main components: a brass impeller flow section, a battery-powered microcontroller electronic block, and a pair of platinum resistance temperature transducers (RTDs)—plus a built-in LoRaWAN radio module for wireless data transmission.
Heat carrier flow rotates the impeller, whose axis sits perpendicular to the flow; rotation speed is proportional to instantaneous flow rate, and count proportional to consumed volume. Rotational data reaches the electronic block via magnetic coupling, keeping the measurement mechanism dry.
The two platinum RTDs determine the temperature differential between supply and return lines, enabling accurate thermal energy calculation. The integrated RF module then broadcasts readings and archives over the RU864-870 MHz band in accordance with LoRaWAN 1.1 Regional Parameters rev.
B, using OTAA network activation and up to 25 mW radiated power.
Key parameters: DN 15 (3/4" threaded), nominal flow Qn = 0.6 m³/h, measurable range 0.012–1.2 m³/h, installation length 110 mm, media temperature +5 to +105 °C, maximum working pressure 1.6 MPa. The enclosure is rated IP65.
Metrological accuracy corresponds to Class 2, and the mandatory re-verification interval is 6 years. Type-approval documentation (Описание типа средств измерений) confirming registration in Russia's State Register of Measuring Instruments is published on the manufacturer's website.
