The Granit-5L (UK) is a combined security and fire alarm control and management panel produced by NPO Siberian Arsenal, a Russian developer and manufacturer of specialized security and fire-alarm equipment. The panel is designed to serve as the on-site device of the Lavina integrated security system (version 6.3.6 and higher), reporting to a central monitoring station over GSM and GPRS channels through a built-in communicator with two SIM cards — a primary and a backup.
It provides 5 alarm loops that can be configured for intruder and/or fire detection, generates 18 basic notification types locally and 27 types on the Lavina monitoring station, and stores up to 40 events in its non-volatile buffer. Fire warning is controlled automatically on a 'Fire 2' event (optionally 'Fire 1') or manually via START/STOP buttons, with three supervised open-collector warning outputs that are automatically checked for open and short circuit.
The panel supports all operating algorithms (A, B and C) required by the Russian fire-protection design code SP 484.1311500.2020, in force since 1 March 2021. With mains power of 187–242 V, automatic switchover to a 7 or 4.5 Ah backup battery, an operating range from −30 to +50 °C, a 40,000-hour MTBF and a 10-year service life, it suits unattended sites monitored around the clock.
