"Glassine Baze" is a glass polyalkenate (glass ionomer) radiopaque lining cement used in dental practice as an isolating lining for filling teeth with composites and amalgam. In the presence of deep caries it is used with material based on calcium hydroxide.
The powder is presented in the form of finely dispersed aluminium-calcium latanium fluorosilicon glass with radiopaque additives. The liquid part of the preparation is an aqueous solution of polyacrylic acid of a certain molecular weight with organic additives improving its properties.
Due to the system "liquid + powder" all dispersed particles of the formed structure have strong bonds, which prevents their leaching from the cement.
"Glassine Baze" has a chemical adhesion to enamel and dentin and is characterised by high biological compatibility with the hard tissues of the tooth, and due to the prolonged release of fluoride ions provides maximum anti-caries effect..
