Armature for ignition gas is used as auxiliary equipment during operation of the ground-based gas turbine plant. When starting a gas turbine unit (GTU), the main fuel (gaseous or liquid) is ignited by ignition flares. Gaseous fuel is used as an ignition gas. To create ignition flares, each combustion chamber burner (CC) of GTU is equipped with a special ignition device, gaseous fuel supply to which is carried out at GTU start-up. This device is an ignition gas valve unit (hereinafter referred to as the ignition gas valve or AZG).
The ignition gas valve supplies gaseous fuel at GTU start-up and stops supplying burner devices of the compressor station with it after ignition of the main fuel supply system.
