Gas fire extinguishing modules are designed to store liquefied gases, displaced by the pressure of their own saturated vapours and their release under the influence of a starting impulse on the module's starting device from the control devices included in the automatic gas fire extinguishing system (hereinafter referred to as GFS) of the protected object. Each module is equipped with an individual mass control device.
High-pressure liquid carbon dioxide of GOST 8050 is used as a gas extinguishing agent. Modules are used as a part of centralised or modular type AUGP designed for volumetric or local fire extinguishing of A, B, C classes according to GOST 27331 and live electrical equipment.
Modules can be produced in explosion-proof version with explosion protection marking Ex II Gb with IIC T6 X according to GOST 3144.1.
