Gas fire extinguishing modules are designed for pressurised storage and release of gas extinguishing agent into the protected premises. The modules are used as part of automatic gas fire extinguishing systems for extinguishing fires of class A, B, C according to GOST 27331 and live electrical equipment (E).
The module consists of a cylinder, a stop and start device and a siphon pipe.
The shut-off and starting device of the module is equipped with a diaphragm safety device, a device for visual pressure control (pressure gauge or pressure indicator) and a device for remote pressure control - pressure switch (pressure sensor) or analogue pressure transmitter.
Modules can be used in gas fire extinguishing installations for fire protection of nuclear power plants and nuclear power facilities, as well as for facilities of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
