Gas fire extinguishing modules are designed for pressurised storage and release of gas extinguishing agent into the protected premises. Modules are used as part of automatic gas fire extinguishing systems for extinguishing fires of class A, B, C according to GOST 27331 and live electrical equipment.
The module consists of a cylinder, a shut-off and launching device and a siphon pipe.
The shut-off and starting device of the module is equipped with a membrane safety device, a device for visual pressure control (pressure gauge or pressure indicator) and a device for remote pressure control - pressure switch (pressure sensor) or analogue pressure transducer. They are used in gas fire extinguishing installations for fire protection of marine vessels and floating objects.
