Gas fire extinguishing devices (hereinafter referred to as "devices", "GFD") are designed to extinguish fire centres in conditionally hermetically sealed compartments with the purpose of non-proliferation of the fire outside this compartment. Extinguishing is carried out by volumetric method.
The devices provide extinguishing of fires of the following classes according to GOST 27331 and Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements: subclass A2 - combustion of solid substances not accompanied by smouldering, class B - combustion of liquid substances, class C - combustion of gases, as well as fires of the following classes
combustion of gases, as well as fires of class E - fires of combustible substances and materials.
