The gamma radiation spectrometer MKSP-01 "RADEK" is designed for measurement of gamma radiation energy distribution (spectrum) and identification of gamma-emitting radionuclides.
Spectra are saved automatically into non-volatile memory and then read out on a PC using the supplied software.
The scope of application of the spectrometer is determination of specific activity or percentage content of radionuclides in natural conditions of rocks and ores, building materials, various raw materials and other technological products in gamma-saturated layer in 2? or 4? geometries.
In the presence of appropriate calibrations and certified measurement procedures, the spectrometer can be used to solve various radiation monitoring tasks, including determination of specific effective activity of natural radionuclides in building materials, raw materials, products, industrial waste and rocks without preliminary sampling.
