TILIT Super Protect is a range of foam polyethylene pipe insulation tubes manufactured by LIT Plant OJSC (Завод ЛИТ) using a co-extrusion process that simultaneously bonds a durable polymer film directly onto the grey closed-cell polyethylene core. This integral bond raises the tube's mechanical strength by 50% compared with plain foam PE insulation, giving the product outstanding resistance to abrasion, compression and the alkaline attack of cement, concrete, gypsum and lime.
Available in blue (grade С) for cold-water and general water supply circuits and in red (grade К) for heating lines, the colour coding makes system identification immediate after installation is complete. Produced to GOST R 56729-2015, the tubes are rated across a wide operating window of −60 °C to +95 °C with a thermal conductivity of just 0.039 W/(m·°C) and a near-zero steam permeability of ≤ 0.001 mg/(m·h·Pa).
Inner diameters run from 15 mm to 35 mm, covering steel, copper and plastic pipe from DN 8 through DN 25. The product is supplied in 10-metre coils (4 mm wall) for economical freight and storage, or in 2-metre sticks (walls of 6, 9 or 13 mm) for above-ground runs.
The elastic foam layer compensates thermal expansion in embedded pipework, protecting floor screeds from cracking, while the G1 (low-flammability) classification satisfies fire codes for use inside building assemblies. Rated service life is a minimum of 25 years.
