The flight control unit for small UAVs is designed to control all UAV systems at all stages of flight. BUPM has a set of sensors of inertial navigation system, magnetic heading measurement and navigation module.
The microprocessor module calculates the orientation and position of the UAV in space according to the available sensors and, in accordance with the specified flight programme, controls the actuators: servo drives of control planes, regulators of valve motors, internal combustion engines, etc. Built-in transceiver in the Wi-Fi range (2.4 GHz) allows to transmit telemetry and telecontrol data, to download and update the flight programme.
