Description
Extended flexible low-soluble anode earth electrodes (hereinafter - PA) for application in the system of current-pumping anode earths of installations of cathodic protection of metal structures and constructions against underground corrosion in aqueous media. PAs provide long-term, uninterrupted and efficient flow of protective current from the cathodic protection station through the ground to the protected structure. PAs are designed for operation in soils with any specific electrical resistance, especially in soils with high specific electrical resistance (more than 100 Ohm-m). In soils with low resistivity (less than 100 Ohm-m), double-layer PAs with current-carrying sheaths are used, as well as combinations of PAs with distributed or concentrated anode earth electrodes.
