The IP 330-1-1 (RO-R ASPZ) is a mine-rated, intrinsically safe wireless flame fire detector designed and manufactured by SPbEC-Mining Ltd., a Saint Petersburg engineering company with over 18 years of experience in mining automation and industrial safety systems. The detector identifies fires by sensing infrared electromagnetic radiation from an open flame source within its field of view, then transmitting a threshold alarm to a fire alarm control panel via an IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee) wireless radio interface with a line-of-sight range of up to 400 m.
Fully autonomous, it runs on a dual Li-SOCl₂ battery configuration — a primary ER26500 cell (19.0 A·h) complemented by a backup ER14505 (9.0 A·h) — delivering a standby service life of at least 36 months without any wired power connection. The multiband sensing element operates across three calibrated IR channels at 4.0 μm, 5.0 μm, and 4.4 μm to reliably discriminate genuine flame events from background lighting, with detection sensitivity reaching 25 m for standard test fires TP-5 and TP-6 in no more than 30 seconds.
The unit carries explosion protection marking РО Ex ia I Ma, making it approved for Mine Group I explosive atmospheres, and is rated IP65 for dust and water ingress resistance. EAC and ISO certified, the detector weighs no more than 2.0 kg and covers a 90° field of view, suited for deployment across underground roadways, stopes, and adjacent surface mine structures.
