Firefighter's combat clothing (BOP) is designed to protect a person (except for the head and feet) from thermal effects, water solutions of surface-active substances, as well as from unfavourable climatic factors: negative temperatures, wind, precipitation.
BOP is manufactured in two types depending on the climatic version:
- BOP type U is designed for use in climatic regions with air temperature from minus 40 to 40C;
Protective properties in accordance with GOST 12.4.103:
- for BOP of U type -Ti, Tp400, Vu, Vp;
BOP of U type is made of top material:
- type T is made of synthetic heat-resistant fabric
Combat clothing is produced for supervisory (type A) and rank-and-file (type B) firefighting personnel, differing in the area and location of signalling elements.
