The fire rescue belt is designed for insurance when working at heights, rescue people and self-rescue firefighters during firefighting, rescue work, as well as for carrying a fire axe and carabiner. The design of the belt is made on the basis of a textile belt with a two-pin buckle, a metal carabiner holder, a leather clamp, a shoulder strap and an overlay. The fire belt is produced in sizes providing waist circumference from 800 to 1300 mm.
The weight of the belt is not more than 1 kg. The width of the belt belt band is not less than 80 mm. The fireman's carabiner is a part of the fireman's equipment and is designed to insure the fireman when working at height, as well as for rescue and self-rescue from high levels, the characteristic feature of which is the presence of a straight working section for coiling the fire-rescue rope.
Fireman's carabiner can be used as a safety anchorage, when performing work at height in compliance with the established rules of labour protection.
