The cultivator is designed for basic soil cultivation: surface loosening of compacted soils, pruning weeds, shredding of crop residues of large-stemmed crops, separation of sodden layers and clumps after ploughing, soil treatment instead of ploughing over zyabyaby, for maintenance of meadows and pastures, separation of layers raised by shrubbery and swamp cultivators, mixing the soil for more uniform distribution of materials introduced into the soil, creating a more homogeneous structure of the cultivated layer of soil.
The cultivator complete with accessories is used in all zones of soil cultivation, except for the zone of mountain farming.
