Extrusion polystyrene foam is produced by extrusion, it is obtained by mixing polystyrene granules at high temperature and pressure with the introduction of foaming agent and subsequent extrusion from the extruder. High-quality extrusion polystyrene foam has a uniform, closed-porous structure with a cell diameter of 0.1-0.2 mm.
Extrusion polystyrene foam has low thermal conductivity at 10±0,3°C not more than 0,034 W/m?K, minimum water absorption for 24 hours not more than 0,4 % by volume, low density of 24-32 kg/m3.
