The fuel level sensor TKLS in explosion-proof version is an electronic measuring-converter of capacitive type, designed to measure the fuel level in the fuel tank of a vehicle (or in another container), to convert the received data into digital form or frequency signal and transmit them to the data acquisition device. The data are transmitted digitally via RS-485 interface in a user-defined protocol.
Additionally, the sensor allows to measure and transmit digitally a number of parameters, such as fuel temperature, angle of inclination of the tank relative to the horizontal plane, diagnostic codes, etc. In addition, the sensor allows the transmission of the measured fuel level in the form of a frequency-modulated pulse signal with a frequency directly proportional to the measured fuel level.
