The kit is designed for controlled descent and evacuation of the victim in rescue and evacuation systems. Descent Assist Devices are rescue aids by which a person can descend at a limited speed either by themselves or with the assistance of a second person from a high position to a low position.
The devices can be used by all organisations working with heights in accordance with TR TS 019/2011. The most common types of work:
- operator (machinist) of a crane (tower, gantry, bridge crane),
- evacuation from various structures, electric power industry supports (electricians and electricians),
- nuclear power plants,
- construction organisations (builders, high-rise workers)
