The ELVA SK70PU is a pair of skate-style roller skis designed for off-season cross-country ski training on asphalt and paved surfaces. Manufactured by ELVA-SPORT LLC in Kirov, Russia — an official supplier of roller skis to the Russian national cross-country ski team — these skis bring competition-informed engineering to athletes at every level.
The platform is machined from a high-strength aluminum alloy and measures 620 mm in length, providing a stable base that replicates the feel of full-length skis underfoot. Each roller is fitted with a 71 mm diameter, 30 mm wide polyurethane wheel.
Polyurethane is notably harder and faster than natural rubber, resists wear significantly better, and maintains consistent grip whether the road is dry or rain-wet. Because the material is also heat-stable, performance does not degrade on hot summer days — a common limitation of rubber-wheeled alternatives.
The skis are rated for athletes up to 90 kg and are sold as a matched pair. No bindings are included, allowing the athlete to mount their preferred NNN or SNS binding system.
With their 620 mm platform and 71 mm wheel diameter, the SK70PU occupies a practical middle ground: more maneuverable than large-wheel speed models, yet fully capable of supporting serious endurance and technique training throughout the warm season.
