The electronic unit of joint protection (EPSP) is used in systems of joint cathodic protection to ensure simultaneous protection of several underground metal structures from one cathodic protection station, as well as in cathodic protection installations (on industrial sites) to divide the anode grounding system into separate branches with the supply of stabilised anode current to these branches. EBSZ is a voltage/current stabiliser with single-sided conductivity and ultra-low voltage drop.
The EBSZ is powered by the potential difference between the protected structures. EBSZ is available in modifications: standard (nominal stabilisation current up to 30A) and low power (nominal stabilisation current up to 1A).
