The EML300 is an electromagnetic lock developed by ELTIS, a Russian manufacturer specializing in door entry, intercom and access control equipment, whose range spans IP intercom platforms, the ELTIS 5000 networked intercom and access system, video cameras and access control hardware. The lock is designed to secure doors in authorized-access systems: the 12 V electromagnet is mounted indoors on the door frame, while the armature plate is fixed to the door leaf, and the lock is intended to operate together with a door closer.
Practical engineering details set the EML300 apart. A built-in wiring compartment with a terminal block keeps connections tidy and protects against vandalism — if the cable is ripped out, it tears away at the terminal block while the electromagnet itself remains intact.
The mounting kit includes a 40×50 mm angle bracket with a wide range of position adjustment, a long bolt with a mushroom nut to suit doors of different thicknesses, and rectangular nuts that slide into mounting slots for situations where the bracket is accessible from one side only. Notched fasteners and self-locking nuts prevent the lock from shifting or working loose in service, a mechanical pusher eliminates residual-magnetism sticking of the armature plate, and the plate is made of rust-resistant materials.
The line also includes the EML300-02S version with a built-in motion sensor and the EML300-02H with a Hall sensor and door-status signalling.
