The RGK electrofusion equal tee is a polyethylene pipe fitting produced by SMK LLC (ООО «СМК»), a Russian specialist manufacturer of electrofusion fittings, spigots, and pipeline systems. Covering nominal diameters from 25 to 315 mm, the fitting is manufactured from PE100/PE100RC polyethylene — a high-performance grade combining superior long-term pressure strength with enhanced resistance to slow crack growth.
The electrofusion joining process uses a resistive heating element embedded in each socket: when a compatible welding unit energizes the element, the polyethylene at the pipe-to-fitting interface melts and fuses into a monolithic joint that matches the pressure rating of the parent pipe. All three outlets of the equal tee share the same nominal diameter, making it the standard choice for symmetric branch connections in gas distribution networks.
