The ЛГМ electric small-freight elevator — sold under KMZ's Alkor series — is a purpose-built light-duty lift manufactured by Karcharovsky Mechanical Plant (РУ КМЗ), Russia's flagship elevator maker operating continuously from its Moscow factory since 1950. The plant earned the title of Official Supplier to the 1980 Moscow Olympics and today produces thousands of elevators annually for residential, commercial, and industrial customers across the Eurasian Economic Union.
Rated for payloads from 100 to 250 kg and certified for nominal speeds up to 0.5 m/s, the ЛГМ travels up to 45 metres. The stainless-steel cabin is corrosion-resistant and straightforward to clean, while the rigid metal-framed shaft minimises the structural footprint in tight retrofits.
Shaft doors are available in vertical-sliding or hinged configurations and carry a fire-resistance rating of up to EI-30 — meeting current building safety codes without supplementary fire-stopping measures. The machine room may be positioned above or below the shaft, giving project engineers genuine flexibility during design.
Floor-level pushbutton call stations allow one-person dispatching from any landing; no permanent attendant is required.
The model holds active EAЭС type-approval certification (certificate RU C-RU.ЛХ81.В.00044-22, valid through 5 June 2027), confirming full conformity with Eurasian Economic Union safety directives for lifting equipment.
