The planetary scanner ELAR PlanScan A3 is designed for non-contact colour, halftone and black-and-white digitisation of books, magazines and catalogues, newspapers; various kinds of bound documents; dilapidated and non-standard stapled materials, including those with a dense spine, which does not allow to open the document more than 120 degrees. It is possible to scan documents up to A3+ format, as well as translucent originals and glossy materials.
Line-by-line scanning provides high quality electronic images in any condition of the original. Real-time preview of the document location in the scanning area is available before digitisation, and when finished, you can view and edit the scanned images on the built-in 21? touchscreen monitor.
