Small desktop machine that can be used to quickly and accurately process parts coming out of a laser, sheet metal shears or even a plasma. The chamfer width adjustment is infinitely variable and the chamfer angle is fixed and if you need to change it, you have to change the cutter. However, most blunting is done at just the 45 degree angle. This beveller is not designed for bevelling for welding, but mainly for such work. The angle is clear and the width of the chamfer is constant throughout the edge. Now the question "What do I use for edging after laser or plasma?" has been removed.
The machining is done with a carbide cutter with replaceable triangular inserts, so each insert can be used three times. Other than turning or replacing the TC inserts and periodic cleaning of the beveller, no other maintenance is required during operation.
