The Dual Channel Digital Oscilloscope (art. 15658) by STRONIKUM LLC is a compact teaching instrument designed for observing the shape and frequency of periodic electrical signals during classroom demonstrations in the secondary-school electrodynamics course.
Built as an analog-to-digital converter set-top unit, it uses an ordinary TV with a low-frequency video input or a monitor with a VGA input as its display, which keeps the device itself remarkably small and light: just 34 x 13.5 x 7 cm in the package and no more than 0.6 kg. The instrument accepts two input channels with a frequency range of 0-100 kHz per channel (10 Hz-500 kHz with the DC component enabled), vertical sensitivity from 20 mV/div to 1 V/div and a horizontal sweep range of 10 us/div to 50 ms/div.
A digital signal processor renders the waveform together with an 8x8 division grid and an on-screen menu for setting input scale, sweep and operating modes, including single-channel, simultaneous dual-channel and XY display. The unit runs from a 12 V adapter (220 V, 50 Hz mains) and draws no more than 5 W.
STRONIKUM is a Russian manufacturer of educational equipment whose products are listed in the Russian industrial production register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the oscilloscope ships as a complete kit with adapter, video cables and four signal probes.
