KTtron-Torkret S is a dry-process shotcrete composition manufactured by NPO KT LLC — a Russian specialist in structural repair, reinforcement, and waterproofing systems for concrete and masonry. The mix consists of cement, graded mineral aggregate (maximum particle size 2.5 mm, coarse fraction ≥12% by weight), and proprietary modifying admixtures.
During application, the dry powder is conveyed pneumatically and blended with water at the nozzle of a dry-process shotcrete machine, forming a high-strength, non-shrink, thixotropic mortar in situ. No pre-batching of the mix is required.
After curing, the hardened shotcrete achieves compressive strength of at least 25 MPa within 24 hours and not less than 50 MPa at 28 days, with bond strength to concrete substrates reaching 2.0 MPa at full cure. The material is rated W12 for water impermeability and F300 for frost resistance, and withstands continuous temperatures up to +120 °C.
It operates across aggressive environments from pH 5 to pH 14 — including ammonium, magnesium, sulfate solutions, seawater, and hydrocarbons — and is cleared for contact with drinking water. Certified to STO KT 62035492.008-2024, the product holds a State registration certificate and a KTtron conformity certificate, and has been independently tested by the St.
Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU). It is supplied in 25 kg bags or 1,000 kg big-bags with a 12-month shelf life.
