Plunger arc-quenching reactors (DGR) with smooth current regulation series RZDPOS, are designed to compensate for capacitive currents in electrical networks 6, 10, 35 kV with an isolated neutral, arising from single-phase earth faults (OZZ). The reactor is connected between the grid neutral and the substation grounding circuit. In the absence of an explicitly derived neutral, the connection is made to the neutral by means of a zero-sequence filter of the FSZO type (connection transformer).
