Scalperator drum SPO-600 is designed to separate coarse and large foreign and straw impurities in order to prevent clogging of receiving and distributing devices of subsequent grain cleaning equipment. Scalperator SPO-600 is installed in grain cleaning departments of grain elevators and at grain receiving enterprises.
The principle of operation of the scalperator consists in consecutive cleaning of grain from coarse foreign impurities, straw and stalks. The initial grain mixture enters evenly through the receiving spigot along the tray inside the receiving part of the grating cylinder.
Passing through the openings, the grain cleaned of impurities through the outlet pipe formed by the lower inclined walls of the housing is discharged from the scalperator and fed for further processing. The selected impurities, gradually moving to the open part of the screen cylinder, are freed from the grains stuck in them and discharged into the waste outlet.
