The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of dielectric rod around which optical modules with freely laid fibres are twisted. The free space in the optical modules is filled with hydrophobic gel. The core is bonded with winding yarns with water-blocking property. The core is covered with an intermediate sheath made of halogen-free compound and armour made of corrugated steel tape. Water-blocking threads are laid between the intermediate sheath and the armour. The armour is covered with a sheath made of polymer composition, which does not spread combustion, does not emit corrosive gaseous products during combustion and smouldering, with low toxicity of combustion products.
