Masks cover the nose and mouth of the healthcare worker and shield him/her from airborne microorganisms present in the air during patient examination.
Materials used and their inherent properties:
Spunbond - water repellent properties and breathability.
Spunbond is used as the outer layers on each side of the mask.
Meltbaun - filtration properties.
Meltbaun is used as an intermediate layer.
Masks are available in three types, the total surface density (layer in contact with the external environment/intermediate layer/face contact layer) in g/m2 depends on the type of mask:
1) Budget - 34;
2) Standard - 44;
3) Extra - 52.
The layer in contact with the face is determined by the place where the rubber bands are attached to the mask.
Each mask contains two rubber bands with horizontal fastening.
Each mask in the upper part of the mask contains a flexible nasal fixator to provide and select an individual shape and better fit to the face..
