The MN500 is a sterile, single-use wearable (leg-worn) urine collection bag with a 500 ml capacity, manufactured in Russia by AMS-MED LLC under TU 32.50.13-002-84148676-2017. AMS-Med is a Russian producer of sterile urine collectors whose products are regularly supplied through state and municipal procurement tenders.
The bag is made of transparent medical-grade PVC that does not irritate the skin and lets caregivers monitor urine colour and volume against a printed scale graduated from 100 ml in 50 ml steps. A built-in non-return (anti-reflux) valve reliably prevents backflow even if the bag is tipped over or rotated 180 degrees.
The soft, kink-resistant outlet tube is 30 cm long and ends in a universal conical connector with a cap that fits external catheters of any size. Four reinforced eyelets on the sides and elastic straps with fasteners secure the collector to the inner thigh, so the patient can move about comfortably and discreetly; a T-shaped (cross) drain tap allows quick one-handed emptying.
Each unit is individually packed sterile (ethylene-oxide sterilised), supplied in group polyethylene packs of 10 with 250 units per carton, and has a five-year shelf life. The device is indicated for urine sampling, urinary incontinence or retention, urostomy patients, planned post-operative bladder drainage and bedridden care.
