Mulching disc harrows "SADKO-6" with a working width of 6 m, with a 2-row arrangement of working elements are designed:
- for pre-sowing soil preparation without preliminary ploughing and soil cultivation, after harvesting thick-stemmed and row crops;
- for the first cultivation of stubble as close to the surface as possible, creating a loosened and levelled layer of soil at a depth of up to 6 cm;
- for shredding and even distribution of stubble residues over the field (mulching), which contributes to maximum retention of moisture and organic matter after harvesting of early predecessors;
- elimination of germinated weeds;
- fine incorporation of weed seeds to obtain provocative sprouts in order to destroy them by subsequent mechanical or chemical treatment;
- to create a loosened and levelled soil layer;
- to rejuvenate meadows and pastures.
The discs act as a ploughshare and mouldboard, which contributes to a better turnover of the cut layer, its crumbling, as well as reducing the required traction ... .
