The IMAQLIQ G-Box X is a compact IPTV/OTT set-top box developed and manufactured by IMACLIK SERVICE LLC (IMAQLIQ), a Saint-Petersburg-based telecommunications equipment company established in 1993 and supplying operators across Russia and the CIS. Launched in 2019, the G-Box X was designed to deliver flagship-class performance at an accessible price point, drawing on technology refined in the company's top-tier Q-Box Ultra model.
Powered by an Amlogic S905X system-on-chip with a quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit processor at 1.5 GHz and a Penta-core Mali-450 GPU at 750 MHz, the device decodes 4K video at up to 60 fps — including H.265, H.264, VP9 10-bit, and MPEG2 — and outputs via HDMI 2.0a. Up to 2 GB of DDR-2400 RAM and 8 GB of NAND eMMC storage keep apps responsive and local content readily accessible.
Connectivity covers dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz, 2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, 10/100 Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, and a composite AV output.
The G-Box X runs Android 7.1.2 and is also available with a Linux-based firmware, making it suitable for both consumer use and operator-managed deployments. Professional-grade conditional access systems — IMAQrypt, Verimatrix, and IPTV Portal — are integrated for secure content delivery, with streaming support for IPTV Multicast, HLS, RTSP, and HTTP as well as M3U playlists.
The unit achieves a declared MTBF of 26,000 hours and carries a 12-month warranty. It ships complete with an IR remote, HDMI cable, and a universal 100–220 V AC power adapter.
