The digital telegraphic adapter CRIPT is designed for use as a device:
- interfacing of PC with telegraph communication line (junction C1-TG) by means of Ethernet interface;
- control of input and output of information to the punched tape.
The CTA provides the ability to:
- output of information coming from telegraph communication lines (junction C1-TG) to the punch tape;
- transfer of the information entered from the punched tape to the telegraphic communication lines (C1-TG junction);
- output of the information coming from PCs (one or several) via SPD to the punched tape;
- transfer of information coming from PCs (one or several) via SPD to telegraphic communication lines (junction C1-TG);
- input of information from the punched tape to the PC via SPD;
- copying (reproduction) of the punched tape.
CTA is an independent network device (it has its own, customisable IP-address).
